314 head were sold at Stariha Auctions Woodford cattle sale on Monday. Buyers were operating with reduced rates to previous sales. Good quality younger steers were least affected and continued to sell well, while younger plainer heifers saw the biggest correction.

• Darcy Pratten, Mt Kilcoy, sold Brangus steer calves for $960.
• Boddington Family Trust, Federal, sold cows for $1900 and pens of mixed breed steers for $1200 and $1100.
• Marie & Risto Apuli, Rocksberg, sold light Droughtmaster feeder heifers for $1200.
• Myles Carseldine, Moorina, sold Murray Grey heifers for $1700.
• Dan Hall, Monsildale, sold young Droughtmaster cross steers for $1055.
• Kenneth Copeman, Beerwah, sold Droughtmaster vealer heifers for $760 and steers for $1000.
• Hodgens Partners, Bald Knob, sold Brangus steer calves for $870.
• Stanley River Grazing, Woodford, sold Angus heifers for $850 and cows for $1600.
• Robert Sippel, Woodford, sold Brangus steer calves for $800.
