331 head were yarded Monday 28^th September at Stariha Auctions Woodford cattle sale. A lot of younger cattle came to hand today, with many showing signs of the continued dry weather. Outside buyers kept the market firm, with the majority of cattle going to Southern and Western buyers.

• D & K Perry Partners, Mt Kilcoy, sold a line of Droughtmaster weaner steers for $1300.
• Steve Kupfer, Woodford, sold young Charbray weaner steers for $1195 and vealer heifers for $750.
• JC Investments, Peachester, sold Droughtmaster weaner heifers for $980.
• Wayne Stanton, Neurum, sold Charbray steer calves for $960 and vealer heifers for $750.
• Gary Brown, Neurum, sold a Brangus bull for $2760.
• Donna Magnay, Neurum, sold a Droughtmaster bull for $2500 and cows for $1640.
• Micheal Friedrich, Toogoolawah, sold Murray Grey steer calves for $1050.
• John Chambers, Neurum, sold a line of Santa heifer calves for $700.
• Leslie Harrison, Elimbah, sold Angus male calves for $795.
• Nigel & Gayle Patterson, Mt Mellum, sold Santa males for $1430.
• Sommer Brothers, Maleny, sold Fresian steers for $1810 & $1400 and heifers for $1340.
