274 head were sold at Stariha Auctions Woodford cattle sale on Monday the 3rd August. Cows, feeder cattle and quality weaners maintained their rates and sold to strong competition, while the plainer weaner types were slightly easier.

• Christine Rowe, Laceys Creek, sold Charolais light feeder heifers for $1510, $1350 & $1190 and cows for $2100.
• Danny Hall, Monsildale, sold young Charbray weaners, with steers making $1090 and heifers $930.
• Howlett Trust, Landsborough, sold Speckle Park weaners, with steers making $1090 and heifers $1040.
• Angus Thompson, Wamuran, sold Square Meater male calves for $960 & $900.
• Darcy Pratten, Mt Kilcoy, sold Brangus calves, with steers making $900 and heifers $820.
• Trevor Carbery, Elaman Creek, sold Murray Grey weaner steers for $1060 and heifers for $1180.
• Glen & Robyn Currell, Samford, sold Hereford weaner steers for $1160.
• Hollyangle Pty Ltd, Neurum, sold young Santa weaner steers for $1050.
• Anderson Pratt, Kilcoy, sold Angus steer calves for $870.
• Michael Funnell, Bellmere, sold Brahman cows for $1890.
