274 head were sold Monday 31^st August at Stariha Auctions Woodford cattle sale. More younger cattle came to hand this week, with steers and heifers selling to much improved rates than previous weeks. Cows and bulls were also dearer than the previous sale.

• Barry Miller, Maleny, sold Angus steers for $2300 & &1610.
• Kilcoy Valinor, Mt Kilcoy, sold Angus calves, with steers making $895 and heifer $680.
• David Sippel, Toogoolawah, sold Brangus weaner steers for $990.
• Jason Raine, Kilcoy, sold Droughtmaster calves, with steers making $890 and heifers $790 & $730.
• Charles Burton, Moore, sold Droughtmaster steer calves for $780.
• Anthony Bennett, Kilcoy, sold Droughtmaster vealer heifers for $830.
• Anna & Nicholas Murray, Mt Delaney, sold Droughtmaster steer calves for $950 and vealer heifers for $800 & $720.
• Gordon Engle, Maleny, sold Charbray weaner steers and males for $1100 & $1010.
