423 head were sold today at Stariha Auctions Woodford cattle sale. Rates held up well in an easing market, with younger cattle holding firm, on the back of several new buyers operating.

• Brian Hausmann, Mt Delaney, sold young Charolais weaner steers for $1120.
• Troy & Calli Gault, Woolmar, sold a line of young Charbray steers for $970.
• Goldrush Pastoral, Sinnamon Park, sold an Angus bull for $2800.
• Ian McLaughlan, Rocksberg, sold a pen of Brangus cows for $1700 and steers for $1700.
• Michael McConnell, Hazeldean, sold Charbray steers for $1815.
• A & K Pratt, Kilcoy, sold young Droughtmaster steers for $800.
• Kilcoy Valinor, Mt Kilcoy, sold Angus steer calves for $750.
• Graeme Runge, Woolmar, sold Limousin vealer heifers for $750 and store steer calves for $700.
• Green Valley Fingerlimes, Beerwah, sold Brangus vealer heifers for $780.
• Stanley River Grazing, Woodford, sold Droughtmaster cows for $1510.
